NICK DAVEY - league commissioner

Nick graduated from CCHS in 1998.  At Catholic High he was a 4-year letter winner in baseball where he excelled as a Left-handed pitcher.  After high school he went on to be a scholarship player at the College of Saint Rose from 1998-2003 and graduated with his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Special Education. Following graduation at the College of Saint Rose in 2004 he went on to become the Pitching coach at Saint Rose at just 23 years old.

Since his time with St Rose, he spent over a decade as the head coach of the Albany Dutchmen of the Perfect Game Collegiate League, the best amateur baseball team the area has to offer.  Over his time with the Dutchmen, he has coached 57 MLB Draft picks and led the team to six straight playoff appearance.  Currently, Nick is the Head Coach of the CBA Baseball Program, a role he took over this past summer.

Nick's passion for the game and desire to provide athletes an avenue to play year-round will be a vital asset to the Airline Baseball League.

Blaine drescher - general manager

Blaine Drescher has been an athletic administrator within the Capital Region with over 12 years of experience.  One thing Blaine loves about the job is providing young kids the opportunity to play sports and provide each player with the best possible experience.  "For young baseball players in the Northeast, the Airline Baseball League will provide an opportunity for young guys to play this game we all love year around"  I am looking forward to helping provide this experience."
